In 2022, Venuesin organised the Annual Retreat of an Information Technology company at OHAI Nazaré The Outdoor Resort, one of Portugal’s most original corporate retreat destinations, combining the magic of Nazaré, home of giant wave surfing and one of the most iconic locations on the Portuguese coast, with premium accommodation and event facilities in an outdoor resort setting.
Annual retreats in the technology sector have very specific characteristics. Teams are young, they value authentic and unconventional experiences, and they expect the retreat to be simultaneously productive and genuinely enjoyable. OHAI Nazaré suited this profile perfectly, and Venuesin made full use of the unique possibilities of the space.
The production was truly end-to-end, including exclusive accommodation for the entire team, full catering for both event days, including a gala dinner under a lit outdoor canopy that was one of the most visually striking moments of the event, audiovisual production with large-format screens for the plenary sessions, graphic production of all retreat visual identity, entertainment and live performances, hostess support, designer furniture and a team building programme designed specifically for the outdoor resort environment.
The result was a retreat that participants described as one of the highlights of the year, a rare combination of work, learning, socialising and genuine fun.
